SST-2 Format Sample

A sample SST File contents follow.  SST formatted files can be generated by TitleFactory.

SST-2 Formatted files contain the header information (shown between the asterisk lines in blue).

Most of the parameters are populated from the settings in the style definition.  TitlleFactory uses the 'default style' as defined in the Process Settings Window to determine which style should be used.  The SST Preferences (in the Edit menu) is also use to populate the Color Index Mapping and Contrast settings.

# The SST-2 format uses the E2, E1, PA, BG indicators for
# to denote the image colors. These correspond to the TitleFactory
# colors as follows:
# E2: Outter Edge - Caption or Undercolor
# E1: Inner Edge Color - Stroke Color (outline color of the text)
# PA: Face - Text Color
# BG: Background Color
#--------------------------------------------------------------#
# The Color Index setting is the index of the (E2 E1 PA BG) colors
# on the ReelDVD/Scenarist color palette.
# TitleFactory sets these to the color indexes of ReelDVD/Scenarist
# default color palette if the colors match.
# If the ReelDVD/Scenarist color palette has changed then the
# color index values on the Color line must be changed manually.

# The Contrast sets the transparency of the (E2 E1 PA BG) colors
# TitleFactory sets the E2, E1 contrast to 15 (opaque) if they are used.
# If unused, TitleFactory sets the E2, E1 contrast to 0 (transparent).
# TitleFactory always sets PA (text color) contrast to 15 (opaque).
# TitleFactory always sets the contrast of the background color (BG)
# to 0 (transparent).
# To obtain an antialias effect, the E1 contrast indicator can be
# set, for example, to 7. This must be done manually.
